  1. Support to integrate products into policy at local/national levels
  2. Support to Kinde on social/LLH integration to link N2 + N4
  3. Input to scenario development (N2 + N3+ N5)

Nile 3

Core work:
  1. Targeting methodology
  2. Practice and strategy maps
  3. Domains

Needs:
  1. Better understanding of how N5/N2 engages with different target audiences

  1. Presentations, policy messages, for different forums
  2. Databases, training manuals, tool and maps


Nile 2:

Core work:
  1. Development of use of 3 local IPs to identify current and future issues +raise awareness (2 way) and discuss + apply solutions
  2. Provision of primary data – governance, livelihoods, bio physical
  3. Capacity building: research training, MSC, IP facilitation, participatory planning, PV, catchment coordinator and observers

Needs:
  1. A new strategy based on the discussions from these 2 days
  2. Greater use of IP to share and disseminate information to communities + stakeholders requires basic information from N3 + N4
  3. Increase dialogue with N5 on how IP + local learning feeds into regional + national
  4. Information on happy strategies + adoption for use in IPs and to feed in learning from N2 – collaboration
  5. Establish protocols for information + data sharing
  6. Further discussion with N3, N4 and N5 on how to include socio-economic + governance data
  7. Development of exit strategy for long term sustainability (IPs, interventions, capacities)

Gifts:
  1. Robust + evidence based identification of issues with focus on participating + collaboration (i.e. crowded research process + opportunity to test theory)
